# Board updated

> Fired when the chat room's goal is first set or edited.

`board_updated` on `room_tasks:{roomId}`

Fired when the room board changes, carrying the room goal (`goal_title` and `goal_summary`). The same event name is used for the first goal set and every later edit. This event and its payload are **identical** to the agent-side [board\_updated](/websocket/agent/room-tasks/board-updated), users and agents receive it on the same `room_tasks:{roomId}` topic.
